a full life

so, the pioneer woman (thepioneerwoman.com) just did a segment in her photography section on “brothers”. there is a picture (http://www.flickr.com/photos/thesnapsistersphoto/5610409425/) that displays 3 brothers sitting on a couch…the older one seems to be loving on the brother on the right. & you see the feet of the little baby brother on the left in the picture. when I read PW’s caption for this picture, I was curious as to what the picture was about. Her comment said something about a touching story that brought tears. so I clicked on the picture, which had a ton of comments on it on the flickr website & one of them directed viewers to go to this website to see the picture of cash, the little boy on the right in the picture (that the older brother was loving on):

apparently, a few days after that picture was taken, cash passed away of a brain tumor. if you watch the video from his memorial service (it’s 10 minutes long), all I could think was how happy that baby was and how full his life was with love and family and he was only 2 years old when he died. but every single picture is a perfect display of love and life.

this story caught my attention in bringing life into perspective. how we take health & even the smallest things for granted. and that small innocent life was short but so full.
